Nach seiner Jugend in Freiberg wechselte Leon für 1 Jahr zum SV Böblingen wo er es in der Landesliga Staffel 3 auf 690 Einsatzminuten brachte.
„Nachdem ich in einer Telefonkonferenz ein super Gespräch mit dem Trainer und dem sportlichen Leiter geführt hatte, war meine Entscheidung gefallen zur Germania zu wechseln. Für mich ist es wichtig wieder in der Nähe meines Wohnortes spielen zu können, damit ich durch kurze Wege die Verbindung zwischen Fußball und meinem Studium besser koordinieren kann.“
Seine Ziele im Ellental sind oben mitspielen und im Pokal so weit wie möglich zu kommen.
